Oleg Vasilyevich Kuznetsov, Chairman of the Vasnetsov Foundation, together with his family took part in a charity gala evening dedicated to raising funds for the benefit of the Russian Orthodox St. Nicholas Cathedral of Nice, which opened in early 2016 after restoration. The event was attended by representatives of the city hall, various foundations and organizations, as well as the aristocracy, including princes from the Romanov family, patrons from among Russian emigrants and local residents.
Russian Russian Cathedral Evening was held with the support of the non-profit organization L'ACRN (Association "Friends of the Russian Cathedral of Nice"), which has been in existence since 1900 and one of the goals of its activities is the preservation of Russian cultural heritage in the French land. Russian Russian culture continues to be of great interest and provides an incentive to involve foreign partners in projects to support Russian art, including cultural and exhibition events in Nice. We thank the organizers and hope that such charity events for the restoration of temples of significant historical and spiritual value will be developed in Russia.
