In early September, Oleg Vasilyevich Kuznetsov, Chairman of the Foundation, met with Archimandrite Platon (Igumnov), a teacher and professor at the Moscow Theological Academy.
As a result of the ancestral research on the part of the Igumnovs, the historical connection between the priestly families of the Vasnetsovs and Igumnovs, who served in the Vyatka Diocese, became clear. During the meeting, interesting facts from family history were revealed, new pages of historical events from a century ago were opened, and mutual interest in confirming ancestral ties with archival documents was indicated.
