Publication of the book "Vasnetsov Dynasty of Artists"

A draft plan has been developed for a unique book by Olga Alekseevna Vasnetsova about the history of the family - "The Vasnetsov Dynasty of Artists", the creation of which is timed to coincide with the 170th anniversary of the birth of the artist V.M. Vasnetsov, who gained international recognition. It publishes the family archive for the first time: letters, essays, photographs. This book is a popular scientific publication with cultural, historical and art history value, with rare materials and documents from the family archives of the Vasnetsov family, including previously unpublished epistolary heritage and little–known artworks by almost a dozen artists of this dynasty. The publication of the book will allow to reveal the national idea underlying the Vasnetsov brothers' activities and the uniqueness of Russian culture, to trace the ways of its development, as well as to promote a rethinking of the style of "Vasnetsov writing" in contemporary art.
